Purrzzle Privacy Policy

Purrzzle is a cat logic puzzle game for iPhone and iPad. We built it to be ad-free, and we keep your information to a minimum. This policy explains what Purrzzle does and does not do with your information.

The short version

• Purrzzle has no ads and no tracking.
• We do not collect, sell, rent or share your personal information.
• You never need an account to play.
• We run no servers that store your data. Your game data stays on your device, and, if you choose, in your own iCloud.

What stays on your device

Purrzzle saves your settings and game data on your device: your current level, your history and best times, your Daily Challenge results and streak, your chosen cat and theme, and your purchase status. We cannot see this information.

Optional Sign in with Apple and iCloud sync

If you tap "Save progress" and sign in with Apple, Purrzzle uses your iCloud account to sync your level progress, history and Daily streak between your devices. This data is stored by Apple in your iCloud, under Apple's privacy policy. Purrzzle saves the name Apple provides, and Apple's anonymous user ID for you, on your device so it can show who is signed in. We never receive your name, email address or any other sign-in details. You can sign out at any time; your progress then stays on your device only.

Purchases

If you buy the full-game unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details, and Apple does not tell us who you are. The app only checks with Apple whether this Apple Account owns the unlock.

Update check

Purrzzle may ask Apple's public App Store service which version of the app is current, so it can offer you an update. This request contains no personal information beyond what any internet connection reveals, such as your IP address, which Apple receives.

Contacting us

If you send feedback or a support request by email, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not share it. If you use the "Facebook page" button, you leave the app, and Facebook's own privacy policy applies there.

Tracking, analytics and advertising

Purrzzle contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking tools, and it does not ask to track you across other apps or websites.

Children

Purrzzle is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect any from children.

Deleting your data

To remove the data on your device, delete the app. To clear your synced progress, turn off Purrzzle in iCloud settings (Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Purrzzle) or sign out in the app. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing else for us to delete.

Changes to this policy

If Purrzzle ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
